With everybody else playing it, it was just a matter of when I would. My best friend told me to download it so we could play together, and it's pretty fun. I'm not in the community or anything like that, so I don't know how controversial the take that it's just Overwatch with a Marvel coating over it is, but that's what I think. I mainly play Hawkeye, so I need that keyboard and mouse for aim.
Xbox was running a good deal and I got this game for like $2. I played the non-remastered one before, but only the first couple of levels, so I decided to spend my New Year's Eve day before doing anything playing this. I played on Xbox, so aiming was hard with the controller, but still a fun game. The entire time I could tell it was trying to get me to play stealthy, but I just enjoyed going loud and sniping everybody in the area.
My second favorite Assassin's Creed game, only behind 3, because the only thing I enjoy pretending to be more than a pirate is an assassin during the revolutionary war. I first played this game after it first released in 2013, and have picked it up every couple of years since then, but have never finished the main story. This time around I actually finished it though. I realized too that the couple of times I had picked it back up before, I always gave up just slightly before the end. Good game, but very repetitive. I spent most of my time just sailing the seas and taking over ships.
Adding as I watch.
Bloomington got hit with the snow storm, getting about 10 inches stuck to the ground. I took 2 vacation days from work and had my normal 2 days off, so I got to enjoy it without having to worry about driving anywhere. I had heard people talking about the snow coming for the past couple of weeks, but it seems Bloomington didn't get the memo and wasn't prepared. It's been 2 days since the snow came and the roads still are not fully drivable. The snow plows pushed the snow off the roads creating snow and ice walls around every sidewalk. They also seemed to have just pushed snow into the turning lanes, making people turn from the forward lanes.
